Jenson Button and Sergio Perez were amongst the stars at the Rush film premiere at Leicester Square on Monday night.

The film, directed by Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Bruhl and Olivia Wilde showcases the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda in Formula One during the 1970’s.

Lauda was also in attendance for the event, as was F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone.

The McLaren drivers posed by model cars before the feature, perhaps getting some inspiration ahead of a crucial week.

The pair will be aiming to continue their encouraging recent form by racking up more decent points at the Italian Grand Prix at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo has been named by Red Bull as the successor to Mark Webber.
